Arrival and Welcome Reception

Registration opens. In the evening, there will be an Opening Reception bringing together participants across the food systems to connect, engage and kick off the Summit. Please plan to arrive by Tuesday afternoon.

Tackling Today’s Food Challenges

Wednesday brings together a wide range of participants to share ideas, forge connections and spark action around food security and related issues. Through dynamic plenaries, breakouts and hands-on workshops, participants will explore the issues, ideas and innovations at the core of the food sector. The day will end with GFN Global Summit Trivia!

Creating a Stronger Food System

Thursday will feature Field Visits in and around Toronto, with opportunities to see food banks and distribution centers in action. There will be hands-on learning and future-focused sessions to create a shared vision, culminating with the GFN 20th Anniversary Dinner—a moment to recognize the impact of food bankers and their partners and to galvanize support for a stronger global food system for the future.
